Bullion Blocks
Magnesia Bullion Block is a shallow, porous block with multiple holes, made from pure Magnesite, in which gold or silver can be refined or assayed by melting with a blast of hot air which oxidizes lead or other base metals.
Refine and assay gold with ease using DECENT Magnesia Bullion Blocks
Magnesia Bullion Blocks are shallow, porous blocks with multiple holes, made from pure Magnesite, in which gold or silver can be refined or assayed by melting with a blast of hot air which oxidizes lead or other base metals.
Advantages of Bullion Blocks
- Great mechanical strength, and are not affected by atmospheric conditions (not hygroscopic).
- The prill or bead does not adhere to the fire assay cupel surface.
- When using DECENT magnesia bullion blocks, the assay has a reduced tendency to freeze.
- No cracking or spiting and the beads do not attach to the fire assay cupel surface.
- DECENT magnesia cupels provide security and quickly absorb great amounts of litharge without cracking or pitting.
- Our magnesia bullion blocks allow for reducing the Cupellation temperature and time, resulting in minimal losses, higher accuracy, and better yields.
- Perfect uniformity of Quality of DECENT magnesia bullion blocks
- Quality and performance are continuously improved
Features
- Made of high-quality magnesia, Bone Ash, etc.
- High casting density.
- With extremely low Gold and silver content, can get more accurate test results.
- Widely Used for smelting and assaying.
- High-temperature resistance and resistance to thermal shock.
- Can be used 3-5 times for the crucibles for fire assay.
- Free samples are available.
